[ Mild Trigger Warning ]

• Childhood
Jamison was born in a rather impoverished area out of London, he was born to a different father who passed away before when he was 3 or 4 years old, none the less he didn't know him that well, but he fondly remembered him to be a very warm and gentle individual. His mother being prone to severe depressions, fell into the worst state in her life. She never fulled recovered after James' father's death, most of the times James would have to be the one to crawl into her bed and help drag her out just to face the day. Unhealthily, she looked to fill a void in her heart, and eventually, by not the best circumstances she came across Theodore's father, shortly after he was moving in with them and she was expecting.

Theo's father did not like James at all, and would often lock him in his bedroom or outside the house whenever his mother was not around. Eventually when Theo was born, even with his biological father being quite the asshole, he came to love his younger half-brother and would sneak in at times just to sleep next to his crib to protect him for the father's drunken rages. The relationship did not last, as Theo's father eventually had the cops called on him for his outbursts and was taken away, thankfully his mother was a stronger woman by then and managed to take care of the two boys by yourself and with the help of kind-hearted neighbors who babysat when she had to work late. Although not the richest, they were certainly far happier and were able to live out a mostly normal childhood together. 

• Teenage/Young Adulthood
During the adolescent years, Jamison was a fairly mild-mannered boy and was even known as quite the academic and band nerd through high school. Theo, on the other hand, was quite rebellious and would often ditch school in favor of hanging out with a less than favored crowd, staying up late and partying, etc. Numerous occasions James was the one to bail him out of close circumstances. Theo had a very rough phase in his life, and with their mother not always being fully there physically and mentally, Jamison took up the role to be there for him the best he could and tried his hardest to keep him out of mischief. 

It took Theo a bit of time for him to come out of his slum, James having taken many blows and hits for him and even a bullet at one point, which was quite a sobering experience. The two managed to graduate, with Theo by the skin of his teeth. And had plans of moving to a new place, for a better start for the both of them. James was accepted into a prestigious medical college due to his high marks, and Theo decided to take up trade school to learn new talents to make it in the workforce. The two parted ways for a few years as they pursued their own adventures which were probably healthier and for the better. The two remained close, the events of their teenage years having strengthened their bond. James was busy pursuing his degree in medical science in hopes of becoming a trauma doctor, but after a couple of painful experiences during an internship and working with EMTs, his dream quickly died. His heart just couldn't handle the line of work and he felt like an ultimate failure because of it. He fell into a horrible slump, perhaps one of the worst in his life, and had to be kept under careful watch and eventually have mandatory appointments with the college therapist, before being able to pull through. It was then he decided to take a different path in life and decided to get two degrees and go into the field of Biomedical Engineering. He graduated a bit later than expected, but with honors to keep his scholarship safe, and was offered quite a wonderful working graduate position outside the country in the United States.

Of all the states in the USA, he would have never figured he would end up in Colorado of all places. But he couldn't help but be charmed with the laid-back nature of the town, not to mention the gorgeous countryside and mountainscape. He adjusted quicker than he imagined to the vast sized campus and was able to make a decent salary from the university, working as TA part-time and full-time lab technician.   
Things were going surprisingly well. Although the hours could be grueling and long, he couldn't really complain too much, other than just the lack of sleep and having to practically inject caffeine into his veins to function. 


• Joining w.Y.K.R
Despite Jamison's active and quite turbulent life growing up, he was able to find reprieve working at a small Hunter-Jumper stable in his town in exchange for riding lessons. In secret, he would sneak off after school starting during Elementary school to hide away at the stable. Shoveling whatever amount of muck and manure he had to, to get on a horse. He began riding at the age of 8 years old and loved it ever since. He had quite a knack for it, and eventually joined the junior hunt club and partook in many youth competitions. Sadly as life became more insane for him, he had to drop from the show circuit around the time he entering high school to be there for his brother. He hasn't ridden much since, until coming into the States, and hearing from another colleague about a wonderful developing stable not too far outside of town. 

Needless to say, it didn't take him long to eventually go down to the ranch himself and see the place for himself. With a desire to rekindle his riding talents and just be around horses, he found himself being quite a frequent face at the place, before being offered a position which he accepted.

■ Trivia:
➣ Voice Claim: Nicholas Hoult _{*(tentative to change)}
➣ Prone to getting car sick easily: flat out refuses to get into a car with Nel or his bro driving.
➣ Does not like being touched by others, he will tolerate a pat on the shoulder and handshake but nothing more without feeling uncomfortable and irritable.  
➣ Sometimes plays the trumpet, and is quite good at it, he used to be a part of a jazz club in the past.
➣ Hopes to be able to compile his own personal jazz songs to use in Dressage Freestyles someday. 
➣ Although preferring independence he doesn't like to be totally alone, he has a pet cat he affectionately named "Spider" due to it being black and having long, gangly legs.
➣ Nothing really grosses him out easily, but he cannot stand it when other people vomit, the sight, smell and just hearing it makes him sick and starts gagging.
➣ He is not a physical fighter at all, but he is more than happy to get into a verbal ass-kicking fight when the occasion arises.
➣ Is actually more introverted by nature, but is great at putting up an extravagant facade (particularly to impress others, especially the judges).  
➣ Has rather expensive tastes, he much prefers the pricey clothes, the even more pricey cars, exotic horse breeds, etc. but, he seems to have humbled quite a bit after working at the ranch.
 

■ Relationships:
➣ Theodore Daines | Family | Brother/Close Friend:
        Although Theo and James butt heads as most normal siblings do, James loves his little bro and is very protective of him although he lets him live his own life. He can be a nag to him at times, correcting him on his posture, chew with his mouth closed, etc., it drives the bro insane! (which probably amuses James secretly to get on his nerves. Typical sibling wars after all). At times he still worries about him, particularly the other's hot-headed nature and willingness to get into physical altercations, he just hopes working around the ranch will keep him out of trouble. 

➣ Josef Saunders | Co-Owner of w.Y.K.R.| Frenemy/Rival: 
         Jamison has a complicated somewhat strained relationship with Josef. There is just something about JoJo's constant upbeat, peppy nature that kind of..irks him A LOT. He is convinced that he is a pretty fake individual despite having put on many facades himself. Being so close in age and used to working with much older individuals in the past, James' is always challenging Josef's authority and at times doesn't take him very seriously at all. The two have an unspoken rivalry between each other, always trying to one-up the other. Although deep down James does have respect for the guy, even though he may challenge the other's beliefs from time to time. 

➣ Neliah Duval | w.Y.K.R. Colleague | Friend/Bromance: 
         As cruel as it may sound, James often has to remind himself that Neliah is actually a girl despite her tomboyish rough mannerisms. At first, he was quite disgusted with her crudeness and blunt, in-your-face nature; but over time she has started to grow on him. There is something very laid-back and honest about her, that he truly appreciates. He finds himself more at ease and often gets enjoyment out of picking on the other, which she more than eagerly returns in a very amusing sometimes over-the-top manner. She is often hanging out with him, and his brother Theo, making them known as the "Dynamic Trio" of the ranch. 

➣ Tori Rallis | w.Y.K.R. Colleague | Acquaintance/Friend/Training Buddy:
      Jamison is rather fond of Tori, not only is she a fellow Dressage rider, but she always seems very eager to learn and even takes his harsh criticisms in stride. He has much respect for her, and finds Tori to be a very accomplished rider, they often set up days to train their horses together and help spot each other in case one of them misses the beat. It always helps she is one of the sane individuals in the crew, she seems to be a kind of leveling device and calms the chaos whenever she is around.     

➣ Raleigh Saunders |w.Y.K.R. Colleague | Acquaintance:
           Doesn't know too much about her, other than casually bumping into her in the stables and arenas. She seems quite intimidated by his stern demeanor and often tries to scamper away before having any other contact with him. He finds her to be a very anxious, timid type of girl but there seems to be untapped riding potential in her. Learned the hard way to not sit next to her when traveling to shows due to her nervous stomach..yeah, he learned that the VERY HARD way.  

➣ Caisus D. | w.Y.K.R. Colleague | Acquaintance: 
        A very new face to the w.Y.K.R. family, with his blonde hair and happy-go-lucky nature, he is Jamison's worst nightmare... "a second Josef". James can't help but be a bit suspicious of the new guy, as there seems to be a little something "off" about him. He is a bit intrigued by him as he often shares many stories about his training in being a Search and Rescue Ranger for the nearby national forest. He often wonders how the guy is able to stay so positive during these searches, as a good half of the time the found individuals are sometimes not...alive.
